Born and raised in the Southwestern Andes, multi-instrumentalist and producer Derrok explores mountain soundscapes, striving to preserve the essence of his beloved homeland and Chilean nature through music.
His live act performance features a unique style, featuring instruments such as electric guitar and flutes, seamlessly blending them with his electronic elements and loops in real time. Derrok doesn’t stay in one genre, exploring varying BPMs and cadences, transitioning from downtempo to tribal house while always maintaining the organic touch that defines his music.
When the dancefloor calls for energetic club vibes he performs DJ sets, primarily spinning his own tracks alongside releases from ‘Quinto Fuego’, record label based in Chile, which was founded by Derrok in 2019 to promote the downtempo and organic music scene while supporting emerging talents.
His music has led him to perform at renowned festivals and venues around Europe and Latin America such as Fusion in Germany and Ozora in Hungary.
An active member of the South American electronic scene, constantly experimenting, creating, and working around organic electronic music while nurturing new producers and live act performers.
