Without the loose, there is no tight.Space between the notes is half the tune, the setting of the sun, gives rise to the moon.Duality is a collaborative project between two of Melbourne's bass music event curators.The long-standing name in the game, Whomp! And the new kid on the block, Flavius.While contrast in our events is healthy for the scene we couldn’t help but team up to bring to Melbourne some of our favourite producers from our own backyard and across the seas.Drrtywulvz is making low-frequency waves across the world bass scene with his signature sound and crisp production. With epic sets at some of the largest psychedelic bass festivals in the world such as Oregon Eclipse, Envision (CR), Symbiosis, Enchanted Forest, Sonic Bloom, and Fusion and Arts (ISRL) to name a few, Drrtywulvz is cementing himself in the brain of bass heads worldwide.We are beyond excited to welcome Levi to Narrm/Melbourne on his first tour to Australia.__________________________________________________________________Our next visitor from across the Tasman is the legend, Paige Julia. Paige has been a massive contributor to the Aotearoa/ New Zealand underground music scene DJing since 2011 and beginning her production journey in 2014. Paige creates music that is built for listening on sound systems with a focus on heavy basslines, gloomy atmospheres, and broken beat structures and has just recently released on Truths Label; Deep Dark and Dangerous, among others. Expect Drum and bass, halftime, leftfield bass, dubstep, and breakbeat in a classic genre-bending set.Herzeloyde’s music is a truly evocative reflection of the natural world; visceral as it is picturesque and forever evolving. An innovative and experimental approach to production, Herzeloyde’s extensive discography showcases an eclectic blend of numerous styles and genres, effortlessly traversed with a singular uniqueness that continues to push the boundaries of electronic music. Continuously challenging expectations, Herzeloyde’s unmistakable sound has garnered support from an equally diverse array of artists such as Noisia, Mr Carmack, A-Trak, AlunaGeorge and many more.
